Fall Winter 2019

The 19/20 Fall Winter Collection examines contents, sceneries and landscapes of the “mountain film” - a cinematographic genre that became popular across Europe during the 1920s – with particular reference to The Holy Mountain (1926) and The White Ecstasy (1931), two movies that describe the relationship between woman and nature; a physical and mental challenge in which the strength of the mountain forges both body and character. This tension permeates the FW 2019/20 Collection, mixing colors and contemporary materials.
